The Parks and Recreation Department of the Unified Government Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas has some incredible spaces for the whole family to enjoy. The Department maintains several lakes that can be used for many outdoor activities.
Five community centers are available for a huge variety of activities from crafts to sport leagues to fitness classes. Parks and Recreation also maintains the Sunflower Hills golf course; one of the finest public courses in the metropolitan area. Many neighborhood parks and athletic complexes round out our extensive park system.
