The Wyandotte County Parks Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides opportunities for individuals and organizations to improve the quality of life through the support of parks and recreation services in Wyandotte County Kansas.

The Wyandotte County Parks Foundation was founded in 1993 for the betterment of public parks in Wyandotte County, Kansas. The foundation is a qualified tax-exempt, Kansas non-profit corporation. The first major project sponsored by the Wyandotte County Parks Foundation has been the collaboration with the Kansas City Kansas Public Schools (USD 500), the Kansas City, Kansas Public Library, and the Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas to build the Mr. & Mrs. F.L. Schlagle Library, an Environmental Learning Center at Wyandotte County Lake Park.

Programs
The Foundation seeks out grants and donors for support of parks and recreation through the Parks and Recreation Department of the Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas.
