BUILDING UPGRADES AT CORRECTIONAL AND COURT SERVICES BUILDING                         

The Unified Government has performed a comprehensive energy audit of our Correctional and Court Services building, a former federal courthouse in Kansas City, Kansas. 

This audit has recommended a wide array of proposed energy improvements.  There is an opportunity to leverage the EECBG grant with the Kansas State Facility Conservation Improvement Program to implement all of the recommendations of the energy audit.  The investment made in the building will result in operational savings of $1.1 million over 15 years.
