The Mayor’s office asks that you
submit your proclamation request at least 2 weeks prior to the event.. The Mayor’s office reserves the right to
determine if a proclamation should be issued or a congratulatory/welcoming
letter. A proclamation represents an official announcement from the mayor’s
office. It holds no legal or legislative binding. It is required with your
request that you submit 4-5 “Whereas” clauses that will assist the Mayor’s
office in the assembly of your proclamation.
