Matches adult volunteers one-on-one with at-risk youth ages 6 - 17. Each volunteer spends 8-10 hours per month providing friendship, activities, positive life experiences, and role modeling health relationships with the young person he or she is mentoring.www.synergyservices.org 

Mentor Moms

Matches moms with young women in their second trimester of pregnancy who plan to parent their babies, or who already have a child. The mentors spend 8 - 10 hours per month providing support, friendship, and advocacy. Young women are eligible for this program if they have not yet completed their high school education or GED.
