Wendy Cluskey, Program Coordinator
701 North 7th Street, Room 646
Office Hours: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
A Volunteer program operates much like the Human Resources Department. Volunteer positions are developed as needed by the Program Coordinator of the Volunteer Center in discussions with Department Heads and other designated Unified Government staff. A job description is developed, clearly outlining the duties performed, qualifications needed /desired, who will supervise and train the volunteer, and the time job requires.
Each volunteer is interviewed, prior to being assigned to a position, to match his/her time and talent with the appropriate job. The Program Coordinator of the Volunteer Center will, with input from the Department/Division, develop a schedule for the volunteer carefully matching the “right” person for the “right" job.
We want to thank you for considering on becoming a Unified Government Volunteer. As you contribute your time and skills, we hope you will also recognize the benefits that you receive by volunteering.
