Kansas Speedway is conveniently located at the intersection of Interstate 435 and Interstate 70 in Wyandotte County, Kan., about 15 miles west of downtown Kansas City, Kan.
Built in 2001, Kansas Speedway is a 1.5 mile tri-oval suitable for all types of racing, and can seat more than 72,000 spectators. The track hosts 2 NASCAR weekends per year featuring the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series, and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. The second NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event each year at Kansas Speedway is part of the 10 race Chase for the Sprint Cup Championship.
Besides racing, the Speedway hosts over 200 events annually. Fundraisers, walk-athons, driving schools, corporate picnics, business conferences, weddings in Gatorade Victory Lane, training seminars, and trade shows are just a few of the facility rental possibilities.

In addition, the Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway is scheduled to open in early 2012.
