Pierson Park
Douglas and 55th (in the Turner area) 

This park covers 125 acres and has three shelters, all with water, electricity, restroom and playground equipment. There is also a spray park, two lighted tennis courts, and a separate playground area.

 

Shelter 1 is located at the 55th Street entrance close to the observation tower. It has 6 tables, 2 grills and the restrooms are attached to one end of the shelter. This shelter sits on a hill above the tennis courts and a large playground.

Shelter 2 is located next to a 10 acre lake. It has 16 tables, 4 grills and the restrooms are inside the shelter.

Shelter 3 is located at the 59th Street entrance. It has 4 tables, 2 grills and the restrooms are attached at one end of the shelter.
