Start times for Standing Committee meetings are between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m in 5th floor Conference Room Suit 515. Specific start times will be determined at the same time the agenda is set. The Standing Committees are:
- Neighborhood and Community Development
- Economic Development and Finance
- Public Works and Safety
- Administration and Human Service
The Board of Commission has policy-making authority over the county of Wyandotte County and city of Kansas City, Kansas. The Commission sets county policies, adopts ordinances, appropriates funds, approves land re-zonings and special exceptions to the zoning ordinance, and carries out other responsibilities set forth by the State Code. Start times are 7:00 p.m. in Commission Chambers.
