The Community Development Department coordinates programs funded through federal and state grants to assist in creating a viable urban community for the neediest persons in our City while reducing poverty, embracing diversity, assisting with economic development, and improving the overall quality of life. The geographical location of Kansas City, Kansas, logistically makes this area a great place for work and also a great city for living.
