The Office of the Disabled monitors and assists the Unified Governmet (UG) in complying with city, state, and federal laws regarding individuals with disabilities. Established in 1981, the Office is managed under the Department of Human Services and is the primary point of contact for citizens who have accessibility or compliance matters pertaining to Unified Government programs, facilities and activities.
We have provided some general information and referrals to community service programs and other City and County services to assist individuals with disabilities. We hope that you will benefit from this information and encourage you to contact the Office of the Disabled with any questions. Please keep in mind, the UG does not control or monitor the information on external websites.
