The Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas is participating in the DemandStar program with other area cities and counties including Kansas City, Missouri, Lee's Summit, Independence, Raytown, Overland Park, Lawrence, Olathe and Douglas and Johnson Counties. Each agency entered into an arrangement with DemandStar by using a master agreement negotiated through the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC).
The DemandStar program offers participating vendors a number of advantages:
Learn about bid opportunities that specifically match your business.
Analyze previously awarded bids to help you win future bids.
Get information the same day the Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas or any other member agency posts their bids so you have more time to work on your proposals.
Learn about bids directly related to your business without scanning newspaper ads, periodicals or websites.
Receive notices of all bids, download bid documents, and receive bid updates all from one central source.
The Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas is pleased to offer you this program. However, vendors are not required to subscribe to the DemandStar system to obtain bid documents or to do business with the Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas. Vendors can continue to monitor the Kansan newspaper, Unified Government Website, or contact the Purchasing Division regarding bid opportunities. Vendors choosing not to subscribe to the DemandStar system can download bid documents by registering with DemandStar.
