Recording Fees and Guidelines

• K.S.A.28-115---Effective July 1, 2002
  

Deed/ Mortgage/ Assignment of Rent/Release of Assignment of Rent/ and other miscellaneous documents

• $8.00 for the first page, $4.00 for each additional page per document.
• Mortgage registration tax----Multiply $0.0026 times the amount of indebtedness.

Assignment/ Release of Mortgage

• $7.00 for the first page, $2.00 for each additional page per document.  If a document is assigning/releasing more that one mortgage add additional fee of $5.00 each.

Subdivision Plats

• $20.00 per page.

Uniform Commercial Code

• $15.00 for the first ten pages, $1.00 for each additional page per document.

Copies

• $1.00 for the first page, .50¢ for each additional page per document.
• Certified copies add $1.00 per copy per document.
