The Unified Government Clerk’s Office is a multifaceted operation with two functions:
Primary functions of the Administration Divisions are to serve as the official record keeper of the Unified Government, and to certify mill levies in Wyandotte County. These functions underlie the additional divisions that the Clerk manages including Records Management and Land Bank.
Overall the Unified Government Clerk is to meet all statutory deadlines with respect to the citizens, commissioners, taxes, and records. The Clerk’s office is also responsible for maintaining efficient and expedient mail delivery of interoffice and outgoing mail.
