The NRC is moving to their new location at 4953 State Ave. The KCK Police Community Policing Unit will also be moving to the new location. The 8 divisions will be located together to continue to provide a central location for neighborhood groups, businesses and residents to conduct business.

The Neighborhood Resource Center (NRC) opened in June 1999 in collaboration and support from neighborhood groups and organizations throughout the community. There are currently seven divisions located within the NRC.

Community Policing and Police Report Desk are divisions of the KCKPD, but have offices located next door to the NRC. Operation Brightside is a division under the Public Works Department, but the office is also located within the NRC.
