Boards & Commissions Application

Applying to serve on a Wyandotte County Board or Commission is a great way to get involved!

Becoming a member of a board or commission is an excellent way to take an active role in the decision-making process of city government. It offers citizens an opportunity to provide personal and professional knowledge in a meaningful and impactful way.

The UG has several advisory boards and commissions comprised of citizens from within the community who volunteer their time, making real impact.  All appointments are made to specific terms ranging from 2 to 4 years, these terms are prescribed by state statue, ordinance or resolution.

Many boards have members appointed directly by the UG Board of Commissioners. This is were you apply to be considered for Commissioner appointments.
