Women seen in the Family Planning clinic or encountered at outreach events are educated about breast and cervical health and assessed for the need for early detection screening services. Women due for yearly breast or cervical screenings are then referred to the Certified Breast Health Patient Navigator, who will ensure they get the services they need and follow them through the continuum of care.
Uninsured women (45) and older or with a family history of breast cancer may be eligible to receive women’s breast and cervical screenings at no cost to them.
Programs services are free.
