Report a Property Maintenance Issue

Step 1.Gather Information

Before you report, it is best to have the following ready:

  • The specific address of the violation
  • A detailed description of the issue
  • A picture of the issue

Step 2.Check Eligibility

The Property Maintenance Compliance Division responds to codes regarding:

  • Excessive weed growth
  • House exterior needing painting or repair
  • Inoperable/unlicensed vehicles
  • Trash in yard
  • Broken windows
  • Unsecured residences
  • Overgrown shrubs or trees
  • Illegal dumping
  • Vehicles parked unimproved surface

The myWyco app is a non-emergency reporting system. If the issue is an emergency, please call 911.

Step 3.Report the Issue

Download the myWyco mobile app or report online. The link below will open the myWyco website. Select 311 Requests and Reports and follow the prompts to be directed to reporting a Property Maintenance issue.

Step 4.We’ll respond to your report

Our goal is to respond to reports within five days by determining if there is a violation at the address provided. If there is a violation, an amount of time is then given to have the issue resolved.

If the issue is an emergency, please call 911. 

Step 3.Report the Issue

Call our non-emergency line at 311 and you will be directed to Property Maintenance Compliance. A translation service is available to assist non-English speaking callers.

Step 4.We’ll respond to your report

Once we receive a report, it will be added to an inspector's route sheet, and they will inspect the property within five days. Once they determine if there is a violation, they will give an amount of time to the property owner to fix their issue.

Step 2.Come by our office

If your issue is regarding a problem listed above, come by the Neighborhood Resource Center to report to Property Maintenance. Our address is listed in the Contact Us section.

Our lobby is open 8:00AM - 4:00PM, Monday - Friday.

We will need from you:

  • Address of the issue
  • Detailed description of the problem
  • Pictures of the problem, if possible
