Tenant's Rights & Responsibilities Toolkit Training (Non-Profit Org.)

Non-Profit Organizations and community leaders are invited to attend the "Tenant's Rights & Responsibilities Toolkit Training for Non-Profit Organizations" at the NRC on September 27th, 2022 from noon - 1:00pm.

As part of the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) Safe and Affordable Housing, this event is being hosted by the following sponsors:

This training will focus on how non-profit staff and resource navigators can use the toolkit. This free event will include lunch and a copy of the full toolkit.

At the end of the training participants will be able to:

Recognize rights protecting tenants throughout the rental process under the State of Kansas
Describe the responsibilities of the tenant to the space, landlord, and neighbors, and
Identify helpful community resources and tips to support Wyandotte County tenants
