Kansas Hunter Education Class

Hunting is a sport enjoyed by many Kansans. As with any sport, there are rules and none are more important than the rules of safety.

Anyone born on or after July 1, 1957 must be certified by an approved course in hunter education before they can hunt in Kansas, except that anyone 15 years old or younger may hunt without hunter education certification provided they are under the direct supervision of an adult 18 years old or older.

That is why the Fraternal Order of Police (F.O.P) Lodge #4, Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City KS and KC Parks & Rec have partnered to host a Kansas Hunter Education Class, September 10-11 at Wyandotte County Lake. All those aged 11 and older who successfully complete the course will receive their Kansas certification to hunt.

Don't delay, sign up today!
