Parktober: Close Out those Parking Violations

The Kansas City, Kansas Municipal Court is excited to announce that during the month of October, persons with minor parking violations will have the opportunity to clear these citations at a minimal cost.

Most minor parking violations are those citations that carry a penalty of $30 or $35.

Parking Violation?

If you received a minor parking violation (or violations) during any of the following years – 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 – the cost to close each, individual citation will be:

• $5 plus (1) canned food item (no glass) – for each, individual citation

The canned food items collected will be donated to Harvesters Community Food Network.

If you would like to take care of those minor parking violations at a reduced cost, and help feed others through the community food network, come to the Kansas City, Kansas Municipal Court during the month of October!
