PlanKCK Innovation Lab: Housing
On behalf of the Unified Government, FUSE Corps Innovations Lab will be convening an innovation lab on housing in Kansas City, KS. This interactive experience will explore both the complex web young families and the unhoused navigate to find stable housing in Kansas City, KS. Utilizing Human Centered Design and a Racial Equity & Inclusion lens we will discuss the community’s response to protecting the most vulnerable among us.
Facilitated by Medici Road, this event will:
- Build empathy for the most vulnerable residents of Kansas City, KS who face housing insecurity;
- Generate at least one viable community development model that can be implemented to improve both the process and outcomes for very low-income people's ability to access housing;
- Motivate the support for implementation of a new community development model.
This is just one of many engagement opportunities around PlanKCK, our comprehensive plan and has limited seats. Lunch will be included and RSVP is required.
