The Unified Government is planning a series of mobility improvements for the 6th Street and Armstrong Avenue corridors. The project includes upgrades in traffic and pedestrian safety and the construction of a two-way, on-street bicycle path. Residents are invited to an open house-style public meeting on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at the KCK Main Branch Public Library, 625 Minnesota Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas, 66101. Attendees can stop by anytime between 4:30 and 6:30 PM to review project details. No formal presentation will be made, and project representatives will be available to answer questions. The project covers improvements along 6th Street (Central Avenue to Armstrong Avenue) and Armstrong Avenue (6th Street to 4th Street). It will be completed in two phases. Phase 1
