Parks and Recreation

The Parks & Recreation Department has incredible spaces and events for the whole family to enjoy. Our department maintains several lakes that can be used for many outdoor activities.

Community Centers are available for a huge variety of activities from crafts to sport leagues to fitness classes. We maintain the Sunflower Hills Golf Course; one of the finest public courses in the metropolitan area. Many Neighborhood Parks and athletic complexes round out our extensive park system.

Interested in hosting a special event in one of our facilities or parks? See Special Events for more information.
