The museum auditorium is a multi-use space, which is used for exhibits, programs, meeting, and more. The auditorium seats 80 people with round table seating. A small catering kitchen makes the space ideal for lunch meetings and family reunions. The room can also be set-up theater style for programs. The perimeter of the space is used for temporary museum exhibits about Wyandotte County's fascinating history and will not be readjusted for rentals.
Due to Covid-19 Auditorium Rentals may be subject to new rules and regulations. Please inquire for more information.
The auditorium is available for community use during regular museum hours and after hours with special arrangements. Museum staff must be present for all events and no museum objects may be moved or touched. Food is allowed only within the auditorium space and no cooking is allowed. Candles, smoking and alcohol are not permitted.
Auditorium Fees Non-refundable deposit and set-up fee - $50.00 per event
Hourly Rate: Monday-Saturday 9:00-4:00 pm - $50 per hour
Hourly Rate: After hours - $100 per hour
Non-resident fee - $50 per event
