Applications
Building Inspection staff are currently working remotely during regular business hours, for most of the division functions. In- person submissions will not be received until further notice.
All submissions for Building Inspection should be sent to Building Inspection Division by email. (Homeowner Applications, Contractor Applications, Commercial Interior Remodels, Safe to Restore Electric Service, Gas Pressure Test, Window Replacement, and Others). Files need to be broken into emails sizes of twenty-five (25) mega bites or less.

To help staff manage your needs give as much information as you can keeping your message brief. Please state as much of the following information as possible.
- Your name
- Your contact information
- Address where you need assistance
- Name of staff you are trying to contact
- Nature of your call. For example, "I need an inspection"
Note: Please leave only (1) phone message or (1) email, multiple attempts will not expedite the process. Leave a second message if you have not heard back within (24) hours.
Any owner or authorized agent who intends to:
- Construct
- Enlarge
- Alter
- Repair
- Move/Remove
- Change the occupancy of a building or structure
- Demolish
- Replace any system; electrical, mechanical, plumbing
- Cause any such work to be done which is regulated by this code
Must make application to Building Inspection or Developmental Review Committee and obtain the required permits.
