Ridership Code of Conduct

The Unified Government Transportation (UGT) Department is committed to providing safe, reliable, and welcoming transportation for all riders and drivers. Our Ridership Code of Conduct ensures that every passenger—whether boarding, riding, or waiting —can expect a respectful and pleasant transit experience.

Our Ridership Code of Conduct outlines the behaviors that help protect your safety and well-being, safeguard our vehicles and facilities, and foster a courteous environment on board. It also clearly defines actions that are not allowed, along with consequences for violations.

Whether you're commuting daily or just catching a quick ride, your cooperation helps keep our system running smoothly for everyone. By following a few simple rules—like treating others with respect, keeping noise to a minimum, and observing bus operator instructions—you contribute to a better ride for all.

All UGT vehicles are equipped with video and audio surveillance to support the safety and security of our community. Please be advised that violations of the Ridership Code of Conduct may result in suspension from transit services, with a clear appeals process in place.
