The Parks & Recreation Department has excellent event spaces for the whole family to enjoy. Our department maintains several lakes to use for many outdoor activities. Community Centers are available for various activities, including crafts, sports leagues, and fitness classes. We maintain the Sunflower Hills Golf Course, one of the finest public courses in the metropolitan area. Many Neighborhood Parks and athletic complexes round out our extensive park system. Interested in hosting a special event in our facilities or parks? See Special Events for more information.
