Unified Government Reopens RFQ Process for Redevelopment of 3 Sites

On Thursday, August 17, 2023, the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, KS (UG) will reopen the request for qualifications for the redevelopment of three UG-owned sites for two weeks.   

Developers, consultants, and consultant teams that previously submitted qualifications are welcome to have their original submission considered or may submit an updated qualifications package. All new applicants will need to register on the Purchasing website as a vendor to submit their qualifications.

  • Three UG-owned parcels at the former Indian Springs Mall location - 47th & State Avenue 

  • Two UG-owned parcels at 4th and Minnesota Avenue 

  • Multiple Land Bank lots in the southeast corner of 18th and Quindaro 

At the close of the two-week RFQ process, a selection committee will review all submitted responses to the request for qualifications, with the anticipated decision timeframe of September 2023.
