The Unified Government Department of Community Corrections Advisory Committee is appointed to determine the feasibility of implementing a community corrections plan for Wyandotte County.

To advise the Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, KS (UG) as to the efficient operation and maintenance of Sunflower Hills Golf Course and any future golf courses owned, operated and/or managed by the UG.
The UG Commission delegates to the Housing Authority all powers conferred on it by the Municipal Housing Law, including the construction, improvement, repair and operation of the housing projects within the County.
Responsible for overseeing the preservation of the county’s heritage by recommending the designation of historic sites and districts.
The LEAB also acts as the Community Advisory Board in compliance with Kansas Statute K.S.A. 22-4610 prohibiting racial or biased-based policing.
The Park & Recreation Commission plays an important, active role in the planning and development process for parks in Wyandotte County.
Also known as the Downtown Improvement District is comprised of property owners in the Downtown Shareholders’ KCK service area.
The purpose of the Areawide Advisory Council is to assist the Area Agency on Aging through planning, coordination and advocacy; to assist in providing an environment in which older persons throughout Wyandotte and Leavenworth Counties can live independent, meaningful and dignified lives.
Appointments are made of eleven members nominated by the Mayor and Commissioners.
