The Street Maintenance Division is responsible for maintaining the transportation infrastructure throughout our city and operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

A staff of over 70 full-time employees is responsible for:

• Routine maintenance of the City’s streets and alleys - including pothole repair/patching.
• Street sweeping.
• Snow and ice removal.
• Repair and replacement of traffic signs.
• Replacement of pavement markings.
• Limited Right-of-Way mowing.
• Cleaning and clearing of illegal dumping.
• Assisting in street closures and emergency situations.
• Performing all other tasks to maintain safe road conditions.
