If your vehicle license plate was stolen, then you need to start by making a police report. If it was the renewal sticker only, no police report is required. You will need to fill out the Lost or Stolen Affidavit.
Make sure you contact the Police Department for the location of the theft. When you make the report, make sure to record the police report number, sometimes called the incident number. You will need this to complete the process.
