Wyandotte County Property Appraisal Info Sessions (MULTIPLE DATES)

Beginning March 1, Wyandotte County property owners will begin receiving their property valuation notice in the mail.  As required by the State of Kansas, the mass appraisal process utilizes market sales to determine value as of January 1. Limited supply and strong demand for Commercial and Residential properties caused increases in sales prices from the prior year, resulting in an increase in County Appraised values.

The Office of the Appraiser will be hosting community information sessions across the county in early March 2025 to provide you with information on the appraisal process and explain the appeal process. 

• Tuesday, March 11, 6PM at the West Wyandotte Library (1737 N 82nd Street, Kansas City KS 66112)
• Tuesday, March 18, 6PM at the KCKPL Main Library (624 Minnesota Avenue, Kansas City KS 66101)
• Friday, March 21, 9AM at the Victory Hills Baptist Church (2010 N 66th Street, Kansas City KS) - part of the 8th District Senior & Disability Resource Fair
• Saturday, March 22, 10AM at the Bonner Springs Library (200 E. 3rd Street, Bonner Springs KS 66012)
• Tuesday, March 25, 6PM at the Piper High School (13021 Leavenworth Rd, Kansas City, KS 66012)
• Wednesday, March 26, 6PM at the Armourdale Community Center (730 Osage Avenue, Kansas City KS) - this session will be available in English and Spanish.

The Wyandotte County Appraiser's Office is available for neighborhood and community group presentations upon request and will be participating in the 8th District Senior Resource Fair on Friday, March 28.

Don't agree with the value? Appeal by March 30.
