  • Learn how to prepare yourself and your family for severe weather season;
  • How the NWS, Emergency Managers, and media work together during severe weather;
  • Understand the basics of thunderstorm meteorology;
  • Learn the what, when and how to report severe weather in support of NWS Warning Operations and Emergency Management community.
