The Kansas City Kansas Fire Department (KCKFD) is seeking a Request for Proposal (RFP) for an EMS Billing and Collection Service. KCKFD currently utilizes ImageTrend’s Electronic Patient Care Reporting (ePCR) system. Wyandotte County Emergency Communications currently uses a New World/ Tyler Tech computer aided dispatch (CAD) system.

The Fire Department will bill for transports provided by ambulances and may bill for other services as inter-local agreements dictate and are permissible by law. A fee schedule will be supplied to the contractor prior to live implementation or earlier upon request. The purpose of this RFP is to select a Contractor to perform EMS billing and collection.

Solicitations from qualified firms are encouraged by the Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas.
