Proposals Due: Boston Daniels Park Playground Equipment & Surfacing

The Department of Parks and Recreation is soliciting design proposals for playground equipment and safety surfacing from qualified manufacturers, or manufacturer’s representatives for Boston Daniels Park. Equipment, materials, and installation services shall be provided within the playground footprint attached as ‘Exhibit A’. An AutoCAD .dwg file of ‘Exhibit A’ is also available for your use. The request for proposals will be posted on our site on April 11, 2024.

The size of the proposed playground footprint is approximately 5,000 square feet and includes 30” of elevation change in a 2:1 sloped hill along the west edge. All proposals shall stay within this footprint.

Sealed proposals will be received by the Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas at the Office of the Unified Government Clerk, 701 North 7th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66101, Room 323, until 2:00 p.m. on the 9th day of May 2024 for furnishing the following:
