Join us on February 26 at 1 PM at Boston Daniels Park as we celebrate the beginning of an exciting renovation! The updated park will feature a state-of-the-art playground, a picnic shelter, beautiful sculptures, and improved signage, creating a vibrant space for the community to enjoy.
This revitalization honors the legacy of Boston Daniels, who served as Kansas City, Kansas' first Black Police Chief. Though his tenure as Chief began in June 1970 and lasted just one year, his 25 years of dedicated service left a lasting impact. This transformation ensures his contributions are remembered and celebrated for generations to come.
