Growing, Drying and Preserving Dried Flowers from Your Garden

Karen Pendleton, owner of Pendleton's Country Market in Lawrence KS, will provide a guide to growing and drying flowers. She will share practical insights into cultivating varieties of flowers that dry well and provide tips on optimal conditions for their growth.  The presentation will delve into the art of drying flowers, highlighting different methods and their suitability for various flower types. It includes simple yet effective techniques for preserving flowers at their peak and will give an understanding of how to retain a blooms' beauty long after it has been picked.
