Start a home child care program!

  • Are you enthusiastic about promoting the health, safety, and happiness of children while fostering positive interactions?
  • Are you at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED?
  • Are you seeking a new career path or different opportunities like being your own boss and owning a business?

If you're based in Wyandotte County, we invite you to join one of our monthly Family Child Care Home Orientation sessions. To register, call our Child Care Licensing program at (913) 573-6702.

Schedule:
2nd Tuesday, monthly*
9:30 AM- 12:30 PM

*No orientation event in May 2025. November 2025 training will be on the first Tuesday, November 4, because the second Tuesday falls on Veterans Day when UG buildings are closed.
