The Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas, Department of Human Resources is accepting competitive proposals from qualified individuals, firms, partnerships and corporations for the purpose of Pre-Employment Background Checks.

Vendors providing such services must meet the requirements, as specified herein.

Solicitations from qualified minority, and women owned businesses, firms and individuals are encouraged by the Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas. This encouragement does not infer preference and all solicitations will be evaluated equally.

Sealed proposals will be received by the Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas at the Office of the Unified Government Clerk, 701 North 7^th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66101, Room 323, until 2:00 p.m. on the 2nd day of May 2024 for furnishing the following:

The Unified Government of Wyandotte County/KCK utilizes external services to complete criminal history background checks for all applicants who have accepted a conditional offer of employment.

Currently, the UG is interested in searching for a company that provides the following services:

• Nationwide criminal history search for the last 10 years
• Social Security Number Validation
• Nationwide Driving Record Check
• Nationwide Sex Offender Registry Check
• Professional Reference Checks
• Credit Checks
• Employment Verification
• Education Verification
• DOT Checks
