The Wyandotte County Historical Museum invites everyone to celebrate the opening of the mobile monument:

Trespassers Beware! Fort Conley and Wyandot Women Warriors

The installation reimagines Fort Conley as a living monument—carrying forward the courage of Lyda, Helena, and Ida Conley, who stood armed to protect the Wyandot National Burying Ground, saving it from urban development and erasure, safeguarding their heritage for generations to come.
