Mayor Garner Celebrates Fathers this Father’s Day

I would like to send a Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing fathers in our community.

This weekend as we honor and celebrate Fathers, it is important that we acknowledge the outstanding Fathers and men that have stepped up as fathers for so many in our community.  I personally believe that a genuine Father answers the call to mentor, to lead, to provide, to protect, to uplift, to encourage, to love, and is consistent on motivating their children to be their very best.

Being a real Father is an honor and a blessing to many.  As such, I would like to recognize the many great and impactful Fathers in our community and the profound positive impact they have on lives.   

I urge you to join me in thanking and celebrating all those amazing Fathers in our community; this is their day, this is their moment, and this is a day we come together to wish all Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas residents a memorable and safe Father’s Day.
