Mayor Garner Announces Appointment of Permanent County Administrator

On Thursday, March 2, 2023, the Unified Government Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to accept Mayor Tyrone A. Garner's nomination for county administrator. Following a national search and the review of more than 30 applications, Mr. David W. Johnston, ICMA-CM is expected to join the Unified Government on March 27.
