This October and November, join the Wyandotte County Public Health Department to develop the 2024-2028 Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP). We invite organizations serving Wyandotte County, community groups, and community members to come together and help inform a collaborative vision towards a healthier Wyandotte. Join us and help inform the goals, measures and strategies for our community’s collective work in addressing the following key health issues identified by community members through the 2022 Community Health Assessment: Health Care Access, Jobs and Education, Affordable Housing, Community Violence, and Behavioral Health.
We will hold a kick-off event on October 19th and planning sessions for the specific health issues on October 25th, October 26th, November 6th, and November 7th. See more details below and learn more at wycokck.org/CHIP.
The engagement will continue with focused sessions on specific issues. All sessions below are to be held at the KCK Public Library - South Branch, 3104 Strong Ave, Kansas City, KS 66106.
