UG City Hall Offices to Restore Services Thursday, Jan 18

Please be advised that the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, KS will reopen the Municipal Building (701 N. 7th Street, Kansas City KS 66101) at 8:00AM on Thursday, January 18, 2024 to the public. The building will be open from 8AM-5PM for regular business.
Thank you for your patience as our team responded to the impacts of severe winter weather. A special thanks to the many people who contributed to the clean-up effort today to allow us to restore service to our customers so quickly.

Kansas City, KS – Please be advised, as of today, Wednesday, January 17, the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas (UG) City Hall/ Municipal offices located at (701 N. 7th Street, KCK) will be closed for business due to extreme water damage.
The water damage has drastically impacted the ground floor of the City Hall building only and at this time no one will be allowed to enter the building. This closure will impact all services such as Municipal Court and other in-person services and programs operating from the City Hall building.
This closure will not impact other UG buildings and services not located in the Municipal/ City Hall building. All other buildings such as the Health Department, Courthouse, Community Corrections, and other buildings of the Unified Government are open for normal in-person business.
Please note that some UG departments within City Hall with the ability to work remotely will continue to operate remotely with limited services.
We will be providing updates on our website as well as social media as they become available regarding this closure.
