Community Input Requested During the Search for County Administrator

Let Your Voice Be Heard!

As the Unified Government continues the search for a permanent County Administrator, we are in the beginning phase of recruitment. The UG has hired GovHR USA to help facilitate this recruitment process. To ensure adequate feedback is received from the community, Mayor/ CEO Tyrone A. Garner, along with the Search Task Force, is issuing a Stakeholder Survey. The survey will be used as a tool to aid in the search for the next permanent County Administrator.  

The County Administrator is the Chief Administrative Officer of the County. The County Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the County, including appointment and supervision of all County Staff; recommendation of policies, procedures and ordinances; and the development of the County’s budget for the Mayor’s and County Commission’s consideration and approval.

The Survey deadline is Friday, December 2, 2022

After the survey closes on December 2nd, more information will be shared regarding upcoming public meet and greet opportunities with the County Administrator Finalists. 

It is important to know that all responses will remain confidential.
