EPA Funding for KC Area Sustainable Materials Management Grant

On Thursday, September 30, at 1:30 p.m., the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will announce over $469k in funding for three Kansas City area Sustainable Materials Management (SMM) projects. SMM is a systemic approach to using materials more productively and finding new opportunities to reduce environmental impacts, conserve resources, and reduce costs over a product's lifecycle.
