VIBE Award: Vendor in Business Excellence

Public Works' Fleet Services team is pleased to announce their first-ever VIBE Award (Vendor in Business Excellence) recipient.  The award was presented to American Equipment Company for their outstanding business partnership with the Unified Government in 2021.

Located in Kansas City, Kansas, American Equipment Company supplies Public Works' Fleet Services and Street Maintenance teams with snow plows, salt spreaders, truck beds, asphalt crack sealing machines, street flushers, and the equipment needed to produce salt brine.  Their work allows the Fleet Services team to keep critical vehicles, like snow plows, on the ground when they're needed most.
