The Wyandotte County Election Office is excited to announce the winning design for the first ever “I Voted” sticker design contest, created by Kailey Mortell of Piper High School. This design will be proudly featured as the official “I Voted” sticker and distributed to thousands of voters throughout Wyandotte County during the 2025 Elections.
Earlier this spring, the Wyandotte County Elections officially launched the "I Voted" sticker design competition. High school and middle school students across Wyandotte County entered their designs to be reviewed for the upcoming election season.
“The I Voted Sticker Design Contest is an engaging opportunity for students across Wyandotte County to showcase their creativity while contributing to the election process,” said Wyandotte County Election Commissioner Michael Abbott. “We believe this contest will not only inspire students to engage in the democratic process but will also give them an opportunity to learn more about elections and civic responsibility—planting the seeds for future voters.”
Due to the success of the contest, the Election Office plans to host the contest again next year. Follow the Wyandotte County Election Office on Facebook for the announcement of next year’s contest.
