The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) is inviting Kansans to share ideas and discuss regional transportation needs at Local Consult meetings taking place statewide in October. Topics will include highways, public transit, pedestrian access, and other infrastructure priorities.

“We want to hear directly from Kansans about what transportation improvements are important to them,” said Secretary Calvin Reed. “Those attending the Local Consult meetings will be providing input on what projects KDOT should prioritize for future improvements.”

Attendees will also learn about recent investments in their area and available grant funding opportunities.
